Many of you know the paper work process is the hardest part of adoption. Several weeks ago John and I went to Yakima to file our I600A. Then later we received our I171H saying we were approved to adoption. All sounds good, then after you get that paper you wait and call the National Visa Center to see if they have received your paper work and put it into the "system". Well for days we have called and the National Visa Center has told us our file can not be found. They have no record of us filing in Yakima. So they put a supervisor in charge of our case.... Praise God for that! I called yesterday and our file was sent via DHL on the 8th of Oct. and it is in fact in the system....They said the Ghana office will not acknowledge that our file is in their system until they get the package from DHL but how awesome is that?!!! Now we wait some more. It should be soon.... Like Thanksgiving or Christmas. (That is todays definition of soon)
